formal letters

The kids' writing classes at co-op learned about formal letters this week and put their knowledge to good use (namely flattering candy companies in hopes of some free candy). :)

a walk on the wild side

...and walk...

...and walk a little more until you get to the road and your knight in shining armor AKA Jimmy Callaway.

"pre-holiday" piano recital

Zeke did a great job at his first recital!  He's had his recital piece the last couple of months but failed to mention we'd be playing it as a duet until last week. :)

This is Hazel's third recital, and she was dishing out advice to Zeke like the seasoned old pro that she is.  She even went without music this year.

five years young

Oh, this one is worth celebrating!

She started her day off with her breakfast of choice...

Then we hit the road for a girls' game in Stilly where the birthday girl really got into the O-S-U chant.

We rounded out the evening with cake and ice cream with our favorite neighbors (which have grown by 2 this year).
